This is a field in Crozet looking through to the golf course from the Brandt's property, to their neighbors. I enjoyed painting so many colorful weeds and flowers this spring.

Old Ash Tree & Creek
Painted this week with V-Anne in Greenwood on Pony Express Road where this nice old ash tree lives by the creek. The daylilies wherein bloom which is why we picked this spot. Sad that the ash boar is killing all the local trees. We have several on our property that will die this year, I am sorry to see them go!

Chile's Orchard and a Dogwood Tree
Painted this with two friends this spring when the dogwood trees were in bloom. It seems a long time ago! Chile's Peach Orchard last year planted rows of young new trees, which is what is across the road from where I painted. They are growing very fast! 12" x 24" oil on canvas, framed in VA cherry wood, $300.
