Painted this a few weeks ago when the bloom was in full glory! I love that I live so close to this wonderful Peach Orchard and the mountains all around. Parkway Mountains

From a photograph I have that is early morning on the Blue Ridge Parkway before the fall sets in. I just love painting the mountains and wonder if I will get tired of it at some point, hmmm! I don't know, but sure enjoy the challenge!  26" x 40" oil on canvas, framed  $1,125  SOLD!

Spring I 2019

Painted this last week with six other friends on a perfect spring morning in North Garden, VA. The new leaves were just coming out on the distant hillside.  12" x 16" oil on canvas framed, $300  SOLD

Mountains, Pond & Peach Bloom

Another Chile's Peach Orchard, from a high edge of the fields looking north. This is part of my normal walk in morning or evening, it was fun to paint there as well. Chile's Peach Orchard III

Chile's Peach Orchard is very close to my house, so I tried to paint several paintings during the blooming period. This one is just above their reservoir and looks out over Little Yellow Mountain.

This needs a bit more work, but to give you an idea . . .

Barbara and I up on the loading dock painting the blooms at Chile's Peach Orchard. It was so cold over night they had to spray water to set the blooms using their irrigation. I will try to go out everyday while there is color!
