Blue Ridge Parkway, November

Last Saturday seven of us went up on the Blue Ridge Parkway and painted from the second overlook going south. It was sunny and warm in the 60's! Such fun! 12" x 36"oil on canvas, framed $450  SOLD

Blue Ridge Parkway, Fall View

I got to go paint up at my favorite spot on the Blue Ridge Parkway before all the leaves dropped. Will have this painting at my new show @ Hot Cakes in Charlottesville, which hangs November 29 and goes through January 9. I am busy getting ready for the show!

Painted two weeks ago with my friends Priscilla Whitlock and Chloe Raynor, up on Bucks Elbow but from a different direction than I had before. I definitely need to go back up, but now all the leaves are almost gone. 12" x 36" oil on canvas, framed $450  SOLD

Loft Mountain Amphitheater View

Painting up on Loft Mountain amphitheater at the campgrounds, the last Friday night they were open, we camped out and I got to paint this view. The next day had a heavy cloud overcast, so I was glad to be up there to catch the colors. That is Massanutten mountain range in the way distance. We even saw a young bobcat!  16" x 40" oil on canvas, framed $800  SOLD
