Blue Ridge Overlook, Wintergreen, VA

A commission for Mary and Tom, at the top of Wintergreen looking at Three Ridges from the Blue Ridge Overlook. (I want to do a 30" x 60" sometime to get the longer view there, maybe this fall!) I went to Art Camp for grown-ups two weeks ago and had such fun with 12 other ladies staying at http://www.campmontshenandoah.com/ a girls camp that for 20 years, has opened their arms to artists for a weekend before the counselors and girls come . . . and they feed us too! Fun staying in a screened in cabin, in bunk beds! . . . 24" x 36" oil on canvas framed, $950, SOLD

Rockfish Valley III, Nelson County, Virginia

Downstream, Jackson River, Clifton Forge, VA

Went last weekend to camp and paint with my friend Elizabeth Sauder http://www.elizabethsauder.com/ on the Jackson River at Clay & Mary's property . . . thanks guys! This is the view looking downstream from their bridge. We got stuck in a mud ditch, twice . . . had to be pulled out (thanks Koal), enjoyed painting two full days, had great weather and camping time with Elizabeth! . . .  painting is 16" x 40" oil on canvas, framed  $800  SOLD
