Bridge Meets Land
This painting I am posting from my Norfolk Paint Out trip. I painted this the last day before I left. Thanks so much to my hosts, Ann & Larry for the good time and great neighborhood to paint in. I will try again next year perhaps, it was fun but a bit overwhelming. 8" x 10" oil on canvas, this is a gift to a friend!

Rose Hill Farm
This is the small one I did the week we were at Rose Hill Farm two weeks ago. The leaves now are all changing and I should go back, but I am going to the Norfolk Paint Out tomorrow. http://www.outandaboutnorfolk.com/ It starts on Thursday but I need to scope out where to paint! Will post my paintings when I get back.
8" x 8" will be framed $95 SOLD

Miller School Barn
This was painted this past Saturday on the upper meadow above Miller School, near Crozet. There were about 18 painters who came out for the 1st annual Paint-Out that the school sponsored. This old abandoned barn is wonderful and many of us decided to paint it. I did a smaller one too, which I will post later. Thank you Miller School and faculty! They brought us lunch also :-) 12" x 30" (I must check the size!) $300 SOLD

Wintergreen Mountains
This is from a photo from Wintergreen area that I did recently after doing a smaller size as a pre-painting. I always love the way the fog rises off the land. 30" x 40" SOLD

Distant View
This is a small painting I did when I was up on the Blue Ridge Parkway last week. The leaves are just about to change . . . my favorite time to paint, but always a rush to catch them. 8" x 8" oil on MDF board, $95. SOLD

Rose Hill Farm
Karen, Eileen and I have spent two or three afternoons painting at this site this week. I did this larger painting plus a smaller one. To the right of these buildings was a large European style barn that burned down a few months ago. Everyone was sad to see it go! This is a great size to do as a vertical painting, my new favorite!
24" x 30" oil on canvas, $500 SOLD

Two Barns, Two Cows
This little painting was done one night when we went out after our rum fruit drinks but before dinner . . . we had 20 minutes to do a small painting, as we set up next to the road. So here it is! 5" x 8" $125 Email Meg West about this painting.

Highland County Hillside
The second afternoon we all went up to the top of a hillside, through two cow gates, a hole infested pasture, a dry-bed and hiked to tree-shade and a breeze! An adventure for sure . . . here was the view I chose from that spot. 12" x 24" oil on canvas, will be framed, $300. SOLD
